Glasbury on Wye Near Hay on Wye

We meet at Glasbury on Wye, in the car park next to the river. The car park is sign posted from the main road through Glasbury. On the other side of the river is a Cafe serving great food and excellent coffee. On the main road junction the garage sells snack's and drinks to take on the river. During summer months our trips lead 5 miles down river to Hay-On-Wye.

The River Wye provides gentle Grade I and II rapids with relaxing calm stretches and lies in the shadow of both the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons. Based on the stunning mid Wales border, close to the Welsh border town of Hay-On-Wye, with small shops and cafes. Glasbury is located within easy access of the river Wye and surrounding area.
