understanding of Grade II white water river skills. Personal feedback will be given throughout
the course and advice to progress your paddling

Wave surfing introduction
If your looking to improve your skills and knowledge of
the river environment this day is ideal to increase your kayaking confidence
and control on the river within grade 2 rapids, and enjoy the challenge.
During the morning briefing we will talk through safety and goals. We will go through the kayaking skills, river tactics of white water kayaking. Strokes, and edge control. Using the gentle flow above the rapids to warm up.
The afternoon is all about application of skills on a section of grade 2 rapids. You will get the chance to experience surfing small
river waves, improve ferry gliding, tune up your boat control
skills and turning with eddies. Working on stroke timing and combinations within the flow.
