great active holiday in Wales!.
The week provides 5 days of training
for the kayak whitewater 3
star award.
Starting with Flat water sessions and
progressing towards 2-5 mile grade I-II
river. Each day progresses through the
strokes and refines your technique,
leading to an assessment on the last
day if required or a personal breifing
on your next steps as a kayak paddler.
Some days will be open to customize
the training to suit you. One and two
star awards can be taken during the
week with previous experience required.
Included in the course an indoor pool
will be used to introduce or improve
your kayak roll. Safety and resuce skills
will be taught during the week required
for 3 star standard.
NOTE:
Being a non residential course you will
need to make your own accommodation
arrangements choosing from one of the
many options available in this stunning
Mid Wales, Wye valley.
You will need to have plenty of dry
clothes to change into for each day.
