Previously
known as the CST,
the Foundation Safety
and Rescue Training is
a course designed to cover
fundamental techniques
for any paddler, assistant
or trainee coach. Throughout
the day you will learn
a wide range of skills
to help you deal with
a situtaion on the water
and help you to paddle
safely! At the end of
the day you can put your
new skills into action
with scenarios to deal
with. The day will
be kept fun and interesting.
On successful completion
of the course a certifcate
can be sent for, (required
to attend coaching courses).
Canoes and kayaks
will be used during the
course, you can even bring
your sit on top along.
Please note:
you will need a wetsuit
and be happy to spend
time in the water.
