" I picked up kayaking just under a year ago, and was getting frustrated with not even knowing what it was I wanted to achieve; the only 'moving' water I'd been on was the sea and I thought that learning to roll would be the solution to all my problems. Cue Dan and his River Skills course.
Two days of very clear, patient instruction in a small group, with plenty of time to make mistakes and learn how to address them. Dan has an eagle eye and can spot things you didn't know you were doing, from a mile away. There was no pressure to 'move on' during any part of the course and I was able to revisit a few things I was struggling to get the hang of.
I also got some very warm words of encouragement. I was about to start by saying that I'd 'finished' a two-day course, but I don't think this one will ever have an end. I'm already trying to fix my calendar so that I can come back. "

" I've met some great friends and learnt a new sport in the process. This is not a normal club, this is dedicated training for those who are dedicated in receiving the best training available.
Highly recommended. " - Shane Mc Conner - York
