Talybont on Usk Near Brecon, Powys
A popular outdoor activity destination, the Usk valley in the Brecon Beacons national park is well worth the drive. A stunning area under the shadow of Pen'y'Fan and surrounding mountains.,lakes, and relaxing canal walks. We meet up in the charming White hart inn for a coffee and chat next to the canal. The village has 4 pubs all serving food with a campsite withing walking distance in the village. A handy shop with post office and coffee is open till 7pm. Explore some fantastic walks to add to your activity break. We use this location for canal kayaking intro courses and the Meeting point for Autumn and Winter white water trips on the river Usk. The town is Brecon is only six miles away with supermarkets and petrol stations. |
