Discover kayaking in Wales on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal.
The canal based introduction course will give you a fun introduction to kayaking with all the equipment provided.
River strokes will help you to
learn the fundamental paddling skills required to safely control a kayak. The
day will be taken at a pace to suit a first time kayaker with regular breaks
and plenty of chat. You will benefit from Small group sizes, with a maximum
of 6 paddlers on the course in total.
We use a canal to give you a relaxing area to get used to the kayak and the control skills. A short 2 mile trip down the canal gives you a chance to explore and practice.
