The River Wye provides gentle Grade II rapids and relaxing calm stretches and lies in the shadow of both the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons. Based on the stunning mid Wales border, close to Brecon and on the edge of the Welsh border town of Hay-On-Wye, River Strokes is located within easy access of the river Wye and surrounding area.

The Wye valley is in the shadow of both the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons, with many options for countryside breaks- Bed and Breakfast, camping, hotels and country pubs. The river Wye is the main venue, providing gentle Grade II rapids and relaxing calm stretches to train and have fun kayaking.

We vary locations depending on lesson and group ability. Weather changes may also determine the training location, this will be arranged on the day.
